Ranveer Singh’s upcoming spy action film Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, directed by Aditya Dhar, is setting the box office on fire even before its release. The film’s advance booking collections have shown exceptional growth, signaling one of the biggest Bollywood openings in recent times.

As of March 16 night, Dhurandhar 2 advance booking has crossed approximately 2.30 lakh tickets in top national multiplex chains like PVRINOX and Cinepolis for the opening day. Including paid previews, ticket sales have already touched around 3.30 lakh.

This brings the total Day 1 advance booking (including previews) to nearly 5.60 lakh tickets, with projections suggesting the figure could reach 5.75 lakh by the next morning.

Can Dhurandhar 2 Beat Pathaan’s Record?

Currently, Pathaan holds the record for the biggest opening day advance booking in national chains with over 5.45 lakh tickets. While Dhurandhar 2 may fall slightly short on pure Day 1 sales due to its frontloaded nature, it is expected to surpass this benchmark when preview numbers are included.

The all-time record, however, remains with Avengers: Endgame, which crossed 1 million tickets in advance bookings.

Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Prediction

Based on current trends, Dhurandhar 2 box office collections for previews are expected to exceed ₹30 crore nett. With last-minute bookings and strong walk-in sales, the number could rise to ₹35–40 crore nett.

The film also has the potential to cross ₹100 crore nett in advance booking across India, making it one of the biggest pre-release performers in Bollywood history.
